Owner/ Head Guide: Dan Wiwczar
Founding Alpine Outdoor Adventures in 2012, Dan has spent most of his adult life acquiring the skills to become an outdoor educator/guide. After spending 8 years as an Infantryman in the US Army, he spends his free time climbing anywhere he can, from Maine to Washington to Alaska. His love for the outdoors, and the desire to share his knowledge, has led him to a career in which he can use his experience to lead others to places they otherwise would not have an opportunity to see.
Dan is a licensed NYS Outdoor Guide in Rock and Ice Climbing, holds a Single Pitch Instructor AMGA certification for rock climbing, a Wilderness First Responder, and recently returned from a successful summit in an expedition to Denali in 2015.

Yoga Instructor: Lacey Seidman
Lacey first became enamored with anatomy and the fundamentals of balance as a gymnast in her early teens. After discovering yoga’s health benefits during post-surgery rehabilitation, she was inspired to use her intuition and 15 years of practitioner experience to make yoga more accessible for others. She teaches strong-but-nurturing classes and privates in the Hudson Valley and NYC, and with 500 hours of RYT training, is currently studying anatomy and teaching strategies with Amy Matthews at The Breathing Project. Lacey’s mindful and articulate instruction allows students to explore alignment, body awareness and breath-centered movement through their own unique lens.
Yoga Instructor: Kyla Wendenko
Kyla’s appreciation for movement is endless. She’s had the opportunity to work and learn with the body and its diversities with many people in many practices. With a classically trained dance background, She has been teaching dance since 2005 and began practicing yoga 2006. With a 200 hour RYT, and a reiki practitioner of the 2nd level, the philosophy of her yoga instructions is to bring people into their own beautiful movement capabilities and personal growth. To reveal your own practice, using your own proper alignment. Journey towards your authentic inner light and let it expand through strengthening and stretching to the fullest potential, using your breath as your guide through all. Her passion to uplift, inspire and nurture radiate in her mindful articulation of this ancient and healthy practice.
